In the third quarter of 2024, the top cryptocurrency apps on the iOS platform in Italy showed varying performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a noticeable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.8K in early July and reaching a peak of approximately 3.5K in mid-September, before closing the quarter with 1.5K downloads. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering between 25K and 31K throughout the quarter.

Nexo: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a significant surge in downloads, climbing from 793 in the first week of July to a high of over 3K in early September. The active user base followed a similar upward trend, increasing from 8.2K in early July to over 13K by mid-September.

Bybit: Buy & Trade Crypto had a more modest download performance, with weekly downloads ranging from around 900 to 2.3K throughout the quarter. The app's active users showed a gradual increase, starting at 20K in early July and peaking at 25.5K by mid-September.

Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH maintained a consistent download pattern, with numbers generally staying between 1K and 2.4K per week. Active users fluctuated slightly, beginning at 9.4K and ending the quarter close to 9.4K, with some increases and decreases in between.

Sweat Wallet saw a spike in downloads in early August, reaching over 3K, though numbers gradually decreased to around 663 by the end of September. Active users showed a steady rise, starting at 13.7K in early July and growing to 18K by the end of the quarter.
